The Berlingot de Carpentras is a small tetrahedron-shaped candy born in Vaucluse in Provence. During the XIXth century the Comtat de Venaissin (which contains the towns of of Carpentras, Vaison-la-Romaine, L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue et Cavaillon), owned land that was rich in fruits. So, our region of Provence has always been an important producer of fruit.
